Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Quite the nice table. I got the unfinished so I could stain the color sine I can never tell if the color will be right when ordering online plus I wanted a dark base and a light top. I was happy to see that the top does not have those zig zag joints that are often popular with rubber wood. The grain is nice and the pieces of wood have a good color match. The table is sturdy and well made. Look up the directions from this web site for the assembly of base to top. Table is very solid, nice looking and was easy to put together. There is a slight bit of damage on the top but barely noticeable and not worth the trouble of sending it back. Fits great in our kitchen especially with the drop leaf feature. I guess I didn’t read the details because I thought it came with the matching chairs in the picture but that is on me. This table is darling! We needed something for a small dining area, and this fits perfectly, even opened on both sides. Allow some time to put together. It isn’t difficult, but did take some time assembling the chairs. Everything feels very sturdy. The drop leaf sections are easy to pull out and lock in place.
