Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. This bed is awesome !!! I replaced an older king size bed in my bedroom with this sleigh bed. The older bed was taller and there was always a noisy wobble when moving around which I finally had enough of. This bed is lower to the ground and the materials are of good quality. Once assembled it’s very sturdy with no worries about it moving around. The upholstered fabric is very nice also. The assembly was very straight forward and easy be following the directions. This only issue I had was that this came in two separate boxes on diffeeent days. The first box arrived and then the second one never showed up. Finally I had to contact Wayfair and they resent the second box which was lost in transit apparently. But these things happen sometimes. The package is a tall box. If it needs to be transported to upper level or lower level must have help to do so. I just opened the package and took each piece to upper level. The packaging was great. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it.
