Sofab Muse Sofa Amusing...
Bruce from New York, NY– Verified Buyer
I will echo a lot of the other reviewers' comments: this is a very comfy couch--good support, the fabric feels nice BUT...

I honestly have no idea how this sofa has so many positive ratings-- this sofa has been the worst internet purchase we've ever made. I've never written a product review before, but I am now, in the hope that no on else buys this terrible sofa. To start, one of the sofa seat pieces they shipped to us was badly broken, so we had to wait several days for a replacement sofa seat. And then the fun really began. When we unpacked the new piece, something that looked like a cashew nut fell out of -- on close inspection, it appeared to be a larvae of some kind. The new piece did not match its counterpart in many ways -- one piece would have velcro, the other wouldn't. One piece had the screw holes as described in the instructions, the other was missing the holes--or so we thought. We later realized the holes were there, they were just hidden beneath the fabric, which we then needed to cut. Worst of all, when we went to screw in the legs, the new piece had a wooden support piece blocking one of the holes! It's truly incredible that two supposedly identical pieces could have so many discrepancies. We ended up having to drill a new hole, though at that point, we really wanted to return the sofa--however, with Wayfair's ridiculous policy that you need to pay the cost of shipping the sofa back, it wouldn't have been much a refund. So we've kept this sofa, and it has proven to be deeply uncomfortable (and at this point, we want to be pleased!). The sofa cushions need to be shoved back in place literally every day. You need to sit right on the center of a cushion if you don't want it to slip out from under you. Even when you do sit on the center of the cushion, it's simply uncomfortable. My husband and I are both small, slight people, and the cushions sink so much under our weight-- again, I really have no idea how people find this comfortable. DO NOT BUY.

I ordered the sofa for my mom who is in assisted living in Apple Valley, Mn. She is 85 yrs old and has Alzheimer's and the sofa came broken. I live in Washington state and I immediately got on the phone to call Wayfair from the man we hired to put it together for her. That's right, you have to put this couch together , it came in 6 pieces! Anyway, I called Wayfair to see if we can have the broken piece replaces ASAP due to my moms current couch was hauled away earlier that day, they said no they couldn't do that and if they sent her a new couch we would have to pay $350 to expedite it with no guarantee that she would get it anytime soon. I refused and to pay that extra amount stating that it was not our fault it came damaged and they said it was not their fault either!!! Long story short and nearly 2 hrs later, I asked for a refund and they complied but refused to pick up the couch!! They said it was broken and they did not want it!! So now we have to pay to have the couch hauled off!! This experience ended up costing my 85 yr old mother money and then has to buy another couch elsewhere.. DONT BUY FROM WAYFAIR!! THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUSED TO HELP AT ALL.

This sofa arrive quickly and with all parts. Alone, it was a little bit of a struggle to put together as some of the directions were unclear about the orientation of a part, but once it was together it is very comfortable and sturdy.

I was a little worried about buying a couch without actually sitting on it, but I was surprised by how comfy it is. It took longer to put together than the directions said, but it wasn't too complicated. This couch is much sturdier than other couches I looked at in traditional stores. I have a couple reasons for my choice. I have two big dogs and I didn't want to invest a lot into a couch that I may have to replace in five years. And this one was in my price range, plus it was shipped for free. Also my doorways are much smaller than the average door and the fact that it came in pieces was a big bonus. It was also packaged extremely well. In fact, I saved some of the inner packaging to reuse later. I am definitely buying from this brand again.
Great for the money

I like this sofa. It was a little trickier to put together than expected. One of the bolts wouldn't thread through its hole. It took my husband numerous tries and finally taking out another bolt to swap places to make it work. The only other complaint is that because the bottom of the sofa is 2 pieces the middle cushion sits a little higher than the outer cushions. Which is fine if you're sitting but can make it a little uncomfortable when lying down. The color is a little darker than the picture more brown than tan but for the price I didn't care. I think it's a great sofa and would recommend it.it is comfortable to sit on seems to be be good quality. Seems like it should hold up well for a long time.
Great price - good quality! Color is a bit different than what is pictured

I have had the couch for about a month now and it's held up very well. I can't believe this thing comes in a box! So far, the quality is good and you can't beat the price. The only "complaint" I would have is the color is different than pictured...more of a brown than a grey. Still looks good if you're looking for a neutral.

I'm happy with this purchase. I put it together myself, and it took me about an hour and a half. The only problem was that one of the holes to connect the back to the arm didn't match up properly, so I wasn't able to screw the connector piece all the way in. The fabric (I got the chocolate color) is nice, though it almost has a slight shineshimmer to it, which I wasn't expecting. Also, one of my main reasons for purchasing this couch was the removable covers, as I have a pet and liked the idea of being able to wash them. I think that won't be a problem for the seat cushions, but for the back cushions, the inner fabric holding the stuffing in is almost a netting, so I'm concerned about trying to take the covers on and off multiple times. But overall, it's a comfortable couch and, I think, a good value.

The sofa is faboulous!!!! I gave it 4 stars because I needed help putting the arms and back on. I am a 70 year old lady which explains it.

First off the picture of the couch is mis-leading. When it actually arrived it didn't look a thing like the photo. The "some assembly required" means one must assemble the entire thing from top to bottom. It's uncomfortable to sit on and becomes disheveled after being sat on. We are constantly having to adjust and fix the cushions.
