I do like the material of this couch- it’s a comfortable lived in look- however it’s tricky to get the pillow inside the covers. The way we did it was to turn them inside out and hold the corners and another person pulls it over - however the zipper is broken on one of the cushion and couldn’t zip it up given it’s a small tight fit - you have to adjust the frame with screws and legs to make it snug. - they did have some markings on the cushions but it’s on both and looks purposeful - hope I can get it removed. Very pretty sofa, easy assembly takes about 30 minutes. Leather is a very nice quality. Curved back and nail trim makes for a sophisticated look. Cushions have heavy duty velcro so they do not slide. I've had this chaise/sectional going on two years now. For the most part, it has held up pretty well and looks good in my apartment. However, the MAJOR issue I have with the product is it's advertised as being faux leather. But when it arrived, the material was definitely not faux leather--but more like a faux suede. I specifically wanted a leather-like material because suede material is more delicate than leather and requires a lot to keep clean, especially during times of high use. That said, I decided to keep it anyway, because it does look good and I didn't feel like going through the process to send it back. It is easy to clean, though, when there is a spill or dirt gets on it. Spills and dirt do come out completely without leaving a stain. I use a rag and fabric cleaner. But the caveat to consider is I'm rather religious about cleaning it as soon as any spills and whatnot get on it. Plus, I don't have any kids or pets. I am overall very content with this purchase! The couch looks high-end for a reasonable price, and the quality feels surprisingly good for faux leather. It is absolutely perfect for an apartment space. Color Note I do wish Wayfair provided clearer images differentiating the Mid-Brown and Coffee colors. I ordered the Mid-Brown, which has much more of a caramel tone to it. If you want a deeper, truer brown, Id suggest going with Coffee. That said, it still looks great and doesnt bother me too much! Pillow Note The pillows do not hold their shape as much as I would like it to, it is a bit slouchy. The velcro helps hold it in place, but I have to fluff often to make it aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Assembly Advice Get a helper I highly recommend having two people to assemble this. Be ready to problem-solve The instructions were a bit difficult and had some missing details. You have to be pretty intuitive to figure out how certain pieces fit together. I ordered this sofa to replace a couch that is in a seating area that is fully open to my living room. So, I needed it to match and compliment the tufted linen deconstructed theme I currently have going on. I saw this and thought it would match and add another modern yet classic twist. The sofa arrived within days and I was initially disheartened when the box arrived with two big punctures in it. I was relieved to find no damage as the pieces were packed very well. Assembly was a tad frustrating. The sides, back and front were easy to put together. However, there is a long panel/plank that forms the foundation of where the seat is formed and cushions sit. To attach, there are screws affixed on the back and sides of the couch and metal plates with slots on the panel itself that slip over those screws. Pretty frustrating to try to line up and tighten the screws. Definitely need two people. Otherwise, once assembled this sofa was remarkably sturdy and comfortable to sit on.
