I purchased this for my daughter who moved into her new apartment. She likes the product overall; good quality and easy to assemble. She didn't particularly like the idea of using the grocery bags with it, because she said it appears cheap in doing so. I reiterated the positive side of recycling the bags, not having a clunky trash can in her kitchen taking up space and handling disposing of her trash in smaller increments. She is coming around. As a mom; I think it is a great product :)

I bought this so that I had a place to put trash for recycling. When it gets full I just take the bag out to my recycling bin and put in another grocery bag for the next round of recyclables. Love it!

I purchased this product as a space saving effort in my apartment-sized galley kitchen. It's good looking and well constructed and fits perfectly, albeit snugly, under my tiny undersink cupboard. I love it. It's a great way of storing & recycling plastic grocery bags - "paper or plastic" is no longer a dilemma for me at the grocery store.

I just received and am having installed tomorrow. It looks great and will fit in nicely under the kitchen sink. It wiil not take up much room which is good since there is a disposal unit under that side. I have a small kitchen. With limited space, everything I put in my kitchen comes with a lot of thought and pondering over where it will go, if it will fit and how much room I'll have left over. Everything. Even my trash can. I always had large trashcans in my kitchen before we lived here. Now, I just don't have the space. I've had to change to a smaller trashcan and hated the one I had because it had no lid and it still took up space in the bottom of my pantry. When I came across the simplehuman Cabinet Mount Trash System on the Wayfair website, it was one of those things that I didn't know how much I needed it until I had it. The simplehuman cabinet mount trash system did not disappoint. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this trashcan. I never thought I'd rave about a trashcan! It was simple to install and fits perfectly in my pantry. You can also install it on the cabinet door under your sink or on any door you'd like. I love that it has a place to store all the shopping bags that I was already accumulating and using as trashbags. The bags easily come out of their storage compartment and are simple to hang on the holder. The storage bin holds up to 50 bags which is really convenient. There's also a drip guard that protects your cabinet and floor from leaks and spills. With a five year warranty, this is the only kitchen trash system you'll ever need. After using the simplehuman trash system, I'm intrigued to try their other products.

Our cabinet door has battens across the full width. I had to bend the upper supports slightly and could not use the lid. However, the lid was not needed since we have not had a bad aroma problem. This is far better than similar products we have tried in the past. THANKS for simplicity!!!

I use this in my kitchen with three small children and pets last thing I need is a trash can out in plain sight on the floor. How many more messes do I need to clean up? It's hidden out of the way children and pets don't knock it over or get into it. It doesn't interfere with anything under the sink. I have had 2 other similar products over about 14 years. This one is by far the most sturdy one that I have purchased. The metal bar around the top edge does a great job of really keeping the bag tight and in place. The bag when gets heavy has a nice place to sit on top of the bag dispenser a huge plus over my last 2 purchases.
