They are nice looking chairs but on each of the 4 chairs that we got the left side did not align with the screw and hole. I have a boyfriend that is super Handy and he was ready to send them back. Very happy with these, can't wait to use them on my new deck (when it is finally done)! There are a few things I'll note. 1) Even for us super independent and self-sufficient peeps - if you can get a 2nd set of hands for assembly, you'll be better for it. (it is doable, obviously, but won't lie - an extra hand would have been awesome) 2) The allen wrench is good quality.... the "wrench" is a joke. I STRONGLY advise using your big-girl tools instead. I actually went with the provided items and my hands & fingers hate me for it. When correcting my assembly mistake today, I opted to get the good stuff out of the garage and it made the task sooooooooooooooo much easier! (although this just made me hate myself even more for not doing it last night) 3) The instructions aren't horrible to follow - but could be more detailed. Things like "make sure when you attach the legs to the foot rest ring - that the plastic protection pieces will be facing up". (See photos) I'm not a big fan of the plastic, although I realize it is to protect the ring... ? 4) Although it seems counter intuitive - when attaching the swivel to the chair seat - the bolts need to go from bottom to top. It will seem odd because it looks like the bolt may poke you in the backside, but if you do it top to bottom - it won't swivel.
