In all honesty I haven't used these bowls yet, but when trying to replace my dinnerware set that had a similar sized/shaped bowl that I constantly used because it was so perfect for most everything, I couldn't find anything even close to what I was looking for. After persistent looking I finally found these bowls at Wayfair.. When I received my first order of these bowls I was thrilled at the size and look of them because they are beautiful.
However, prior to purchasing these bowls the first time I read the reviews and several people said they chip and break easily in the dishwasher and microwave, while others said that wasn't the case, so in all honesty I don't know if it is true or not. But, since I loved the size and shape of these bowls I didn't want to have them break easily and then be sold out when I tried to buy more of them, so I placed a second order to be sure I had them if I needed them.
As I said earlier, they are beautiful, very simple but elegant, the perfect size for most meals, and I am very happy with them.
