Great colors. Not too bright or loud. I live in a Victorian house with traditional furniture and it goes well, bordering some on the modern side because of the coloring. There are blues, yellows, gold, raspberry, dark coral and creams. Pile height is about what youd expect for price range. I went back and forth on purchasing this rug, and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger. It's beautiful. I really wanted a Sisal rug, but didn't want the mess of one and also the fact that Sisal is not a great rug for cleanability. This rug has the look of Sisal. I ordered the 8'6" x 13' rug. The width measured 8'3" which I was a bit disappointed with since I was wanting as wide of a rug as possible without going to a larger size. The length was perfect at 13'. I know 3" isn't much, but I sure wish it was a true 8'6" wide. BUT with that said, it's beautiful and I love the texture it brings to my living room. This rug is okay. Three stars because the color is way off from how it looked to me online. I received the rug today and laid it out. The edges are still curled up some, but I expect it to lay flat soon. It’s pretty and the quality seems decent for the price. The rug is much lighter in color than I expected. I thought it was more brown/beige with some grey throughout. It’s actually very light beige, near off-white, and more silver than grey. Essentially, it has cooler tones, whereas I need warmer tones. Also, I have three kids and two dogs — the lighter colors won’t wear as well for us. It’s not worth the hassle of returning, so I’ll try it for a bit, then move it to a different space if I can’t make it work where I planned. This rug is beautiful!! We have numerous rugs in our house, ranging from high end brands, down to the machine washable rugs from our local Walmarttarget. This is a great bang for your buck! The backing is super sturdy and the fringe is double stitched for extra durability. My only *minor* complaint is that there isn’t much cushioning, so over the hardwood floors, it’s still pretty hard when you sit down.
