I love this (these) chair(s). I purchased 2. I originally was just going to go with 1 but once I put them in my bedroom and sat in them for a while, I knew I needed both. Of course the seat is firm, like mostly all chairs are when you first purchase it. But it doesn't take long to lighten up and get comfortable. The flowers are real embroidery and it is a heavy gray twill fabric. Very strong. The backs are not tall so if you sit straight up you won't be able to rest your head but if you slide down a little to rest your feet on an Ottoman you will be able to rest your head as well. I do it all the time. I'm 5'8". Size large in clothes. I've had them for about 4 months now. Seat width Inside arms is 19" (inches). It is like the width of a parson chair. I wanted to love these chairs, and I do love the wood detailing on them. They arrived super quick and were fairly priced. However, a couple things that bug me-the color is a little weird. They have a pinkish undertone that i don’t like. Also the back cushion part is fabric on both sides with some foam in between. It makes a weird sound when you sit back or move, like you can hear that it’s just cheap foam in there. I hope that goes away once they’ve been broken in…. Alyx.
