I got this pan to see if I would like it before I bought the whole set. I got is March 30 and it is now May 5. I use it about 4x a week. No discoloration and no coating coming off. With that being said I do not use A LOT of oil, I have a oil mister. I do not place in the dishwasher, I hand wash with a sisal dish brush. I do not use metal utensils, I use silicone.. Miranda. This fluted Bundt pan makes a beautiful cake! The pan itself is beautiful copper gold with dark flecks and has non-stick coating both inside and out that cleans easily, even the nooks and crannies in the bottom and sides. Hand wash is recommended. I used baking spray before filling the pan 34 full with cake batter. Pan remained flat on the oven rack, the textured bottom was not an issue.
