It’s being hung tomorrow. I’m so excited! I am putting it in my hallway because it has really high ceilings and it’s the perfect spot for it. I love the simplicity of this light fixture. It lends itself to any design style. You can change your color scheme and paint and it will still look great. You can change your design style, for example, I change my relaxed coastal style to a mid century modern vibe and it works perfectly. I challenge someone to find a style that it doesn’t work with lol. Good luck with that. All in all, I’m very happy with this light fixture. I highly recommend it. As soon as it’s hung, I will update my review with beautiful pictures of it hanging in my hallway. The light was a lot bigger than i thought it would be and that’s great! I was worried it was going to be too small but no way! It’s substantial. Please note that installation can be a challenge. And sometimes the installation is more than the cost of the light. It’s important to know that so you’re not shocked when they tell you how much to hang it. Plus the electricians around here are flakes. I have always loved globes and maps and was so EXCITED when my globe arrived. It came in perfect shape and is beautiful and even more beautiful when it is lit up!!! My only complaint is that the gold thing that hold the globe at an angle is PLASTIC!!! Honestly for $90.00 it should have been made of some kind of metal!! Other than that I love it.. Elizabeth.
