The delivery team drilled legs on this one. I don't think my first one had legs so that was a nice upgrade in design that makes it easy to move around. I love and re-ordered this sofa for it's compact size, storage, firmness and its dual bed functionality. The price has gone up and down over the years and even after I bought it. It’s a very sturdy couch, short compared to a real couch, but as expected when reading the dimensions. I picked it because a lot of the reviews said that the cushions were firm and not soft and I wanted to ensure it lasted me the 3 years I’d be int rh little apartment I was in. I will say it IS more firm than I expected, almost 3 years and haven’t softened up any, but I prefer that over them flattening out and becoming thin and very uncomfortable. What a great piece of furniture! The size is perfect for my mom's new apartment. The construction is solid and it's easy to convert to the sleeper position. Positively IN LOVE with these sofas! Firm enough for me, soft enough for my husband. I’ve sat on countless sofas at furniture stores and immediately popped up with a “Nope!” So naturally I was nervous at 2k a pop, no cancels or returns and a front door that wasn’t quite 36” wide as needed per the delivery specs. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did.
