I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. Really happy with this purchase. The grill gets hot quickly and has plenty of cooking space. I also like having the extra storage cabinets.
