Nice crisp cotton sheets that hold up well in the washer and dryer. Haven't had any issues with them shrinking either. The sizing is generous and I've had no problems fitting these onto my mattress. I purchased these with stripes because my partner can't figure out the top or side of sheets. These actually have a sewn in piece that says TOP/BOTTOM. If I'd known that I wouldn't have needed stripes. LOVE THAT. Surely he'll be able to figure this out. I also want to note that the elastic isn't just around the bottom at corners, it's around the entire bottom which will make it easier to stay put - this must be their OptiFit band. Let me start by saying that I bought this Benedictine sheet set to accompany a quilt set, the Cotton Ring Stitch Comforter Set by Chezmoi Collection that I also purchased from Wayfair. The comforter is also sold under the name Tomeko. At any rate, I think they look good together, and I am pleased with the combination. The sheet set is very well crafted with all seams being sewn professionally. The "mauve" shade that I purchased would be equally at home with red or maroon bedding. It's a thin fabric, and I would not want it any thinner; I would absolutely return it if it were any thinner as it is sold as a premiere quality sheet set. I do want to mention that you must launder this set prior to placing it onto your bed as it has a terribly heavy scent that has to be laundered out before use. The care instructions say to wash on delicate and in cold water and to either air dry or tumble dry on low. I wash pretty much everything on delicate and then dry on low heat or hang, so this care instruction suits me. Overall I am happy with the purchase, however it is still in the washer so I cannot yet attest to how it comes out of that cycle. Maybe I can update this review in the future.
