These sheets are the best flannel sheets that I have ever purchased. They are thick and soft, and so far after a couple washings they are the same. The print on them is beautiful. I am very happy with the beautiful shiny sateen finish and depth of color saturation on these 100 cotton sheets from Pointehaven. They were also just the right pocket depth for my bed since I have a mattress topper over my mattress for extra comfort and cooling. The only feature I was not happy with was how the lace trim on the edge of the flat sheet seemed to be really scratchy when I first put it on the bed. Washing this sheet with liquid fabric softener seemed to help a little. I would recommend a softer, less thick lace trim made out of 100 cotton for these sheets. This trim looked more like crewel or tatting. I would also recommend making this sheet set in other bright colors like blue red, emerald green, hot pink and dark purple too.. Frances. Alexandria, VA. These sheets are amazing. They are 100% cotton and fit my extra tall mattress without moving or shifting through the night and being 100% cotton are breathable. For those that say they are 'stiff' that is what percale sheets are, a nice crisp cotton sheet. This isn't my first set of percale cotton and over time through washing and adding softener they will soften but who doesn't love slipping into a nice crisp set of sheets at the end of a hard day?.
