I am very happy with the beautiful shiny sateen finish and depth of color saturation on these 100 cotton sheets from Pointehaven. They were also just the right pocket depth for my bed since I have a mattress topper over my mattress for extra comfort and cooling. The only feature I was not happy with was how the lace trim on the edge of the flat sheet seemed to be really scratchy when I first put it on the bed. Washing this sheet with liquid fabric softener seemed to help a little. I would recommend a softer, less thick lace trim made out of 100 cotton for these sheets. This trim looked more like crewel or tatting. I would also recommend making this sheet set in other bright colors like blue red, emerald green, hot pink and dark purple too.. Frances. Alexandria, VA. So, I am writing this review while these are still fairly new, so I will have to update after we’ve had it awhile to comment on durability. But, first impressions are great! The material is soft, comfy, and the color is beautiful. It is a gorgeous green color. It’s the type of light sage that almost leans mint (although I would definitely call it sage and not mint), but it could probably compliment a variety of palettes. I washed it according to the care instructions before using it, and it came out just fine. We got a queen size set, and I was able to fit a king-size comforter in it for a plush, cozy feel. We already got some dirt on it from an overzealous dog’s paws, but some stain remover (I use biokleen enzyme stain and odor remover) did the trick and it seemed to wash out well. This seems promising and hopefully the material won’t hold on to stains. I will update after more use to comment on durability and how it maintains its color and feel.
