I have no idea how, but our family of 5 (3 children 18-24) have managed to loose so many of our spoons. We have been married over 28 years and seem to have every other piece of sliverwear but are down to only 4 spoons. When I searched, replacement spoons to match out pattern were nearly $70 each. That's no joke, but you know there was zero chance I was buying any spoons at that price. Instead, I purchased this set.
