Photo not detailed enough

I regret buying this rug. After doing a lot of online searching for a navy and white area rug for a baby's room, I finally selected this one, but I wish I hadn't. It arrived in good condition, but I was dismayed when I unrolled it to see that the white part of the rug is very much a dark beige, which doesn't work well with the colors we selected for room. It also sheds a ton, as other reviewers have mentioned. I have to empty my vacuum canister almost every time I clean it, and it rarely looks clean because of the constant shedding. Another downside to it is how the off-white trellis part is raised so far above the navy part. It makes it look nice, but it's SUCH a pain to vacuum because it's bumpy and irregular. I don't feel like it's ever clean enough. Additionally, our cat has scratched at it a couple times and with our other wool area rugs, the rug will just shed a few pieces and not be a big deal. With this rug, any area my cat has scratched pulls out strings 1-2 inches long. Between the shedding and the strings, this rug will be totally naked in no time. I wish I had kept shopping and chosen a different rug.
High Maintenance, But Worth It

I knew by reading the previous reviews about this rug that it was going to be a relative pain to take care of, but I didn't realize how much vacuuming would be required. For the first month, we vacuumed the rug twice per week as recommended by the care instructions. Each vacuum would require us to empty out our canister at least twice. We are now down to about once a week, but it is still shedding a lot. I can live with the work required, because it is beautiful, soft, durable, and a great statement piece in our living room. The navy is a dark, true navy, and just as I expected!

This rug is exactly what we were looking for. It is very soft, and the blue color is great (not a dark navy, but not a royal blue either). It does shed a bit as expected given that it is wool, but we've vacuumed it several times a week for the first couple months and it is fine now. The look is fantastic, great value for the price.

This rug is soft - just like previous reviews said it was. You can tell it's thick when you walk on it. The design has some texture to it, and it looks a lot more expensive than it is. Yes, it sheds, but not nearly as much as I was expecting. The color is almost a dark royal blue rather than navy (it looked almost black on my computer). The design/pattern is larger than I realized. But I really do love it.
Great price. Great look.

I read reviews of over 15 different rugs from various local, national and online places. This is the first time I have purchased a rug online and I was weary about not being able to view it before purchase.

Was really impressed with this rug. We had been searching forever at good stores and most of the rugs were really scratchy if they seemed durable. This is both soft and durable.

I purchased this rug as a runner for my walk in closet. It's great quality, and the design is beautiful! The navy is rich and the cream very crisp. The only drawback is that after months of vacuuming it still sheds quite a bit so never fully looks quite "clean"
Very happy with purchase

The other comments are right about the rug. I was expecting it to by navy, but it is a brighter blue. It is still darker than a royal so it works perfect in my room. The ivory parts are raised, which I enjoy because it gives the rug a different and defined look. I was worried it would be to thin, but the rug is perfect in pile height.

Beautiful rug the navy and cream is perfect. Need vacuumed lots in the beginning so then it's super. At the start navy fuzzy is on cream and cream on navy. This is my second rug, the first was navy and cream chevron and this is the trellis navy and cream. The colors match so perfect which is great they can be in foyer and family room next to each other.. What one don't be afraid to order.

Ordered the runner for my entryway. As the other reviews said, the color is a little lighter than navy (Not quite a royal blue and not quite a navy). I have not vacuumed it, but I do see that it will need to be vacuumed often. The white part is also raised - so if that's not what you are looking for I wouldn't recommend it. I have already received many compliments in my hallway!
