We have a ceiling light in a hallway that does not have a wall switch so the ceiling fixture requires a pull chain. This is an excellent low profile option on its own (no ceiling fan). I really like this ceiling fan and it was very easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow to get it installed in no time.
