I looked everywhere (and for a long time) to find something that was elegant, stately and just right. Most were too ornate, boxy, etc. But, this one had just the right curves at the top to offset the rectangular shape. I really like the amount of lights it has and it lights up my foyer really nicely. There's no glass to clean, and my installer dropped it low enough so that I can change the lightbulbs myself from the second floor without needing a really tall ladder to do it. Really love it!. I decided to go with this one and I cannot be more pleased and then I am. I was able to get a 2 inch oilfield tubing cemented into the ground to put the light on top. I do not have it wired in at all I am using a rechargeable solar lightbulb that I got online and it has been amazing for this light. The light itself is made extremely well. This light fixture is beautiful. Its is heavy and very solid. My husband was able to hang it in about an hour by himself (although it would have been easier with 2 people due to the weight). The 2 temporary bars that allow the fixture to hang while you connect the electric wires was a great idea to make installation easier.
