I am not skilled at building things at all, and I was able to construct this in about ten minutes. The design is too cute. The llama image spans each level of the bookcase. The texture is a vinyl-type of material. It is super easy to wipe stains off (which is needed with a toddler), and it looks great. The quality is very durable. The legs of the bookshelf are very, very sturdy. This is one that will last quite a while. I like the color of the legs, as they complement the design so well. We were able to fit quite a few books on this shelf! What I particularly like is that the books do not have to be super tall for them to be seen. With bookcases in the past, most books are not tall enough. But, with this one, most of the books are tall enough so that your kiddo can see most of the front cover.
