Finally !! It’s literally took 8mths and 3 stores later to get my fridge ! I didn’t have a fridge for mths got ACS case and all reached out to Samsung for help but nothing fridge finally came and it came damage I got 150 back wow and I have a 3200 bill from door dash fridge is beautiful and all but not worth all the drama I went through Samsung customer service was horrible and I went threw all my savings they didn’t care I got a ACS for not having fridge during pandemic they didn’t care I was running out of money from ordering out food instead I get a damage fridge ! We are happy with our purchase. It fits perfectly in the space provided in our kitchen. We are not concerned with all the bells and whistles which comes with more higher priced appliances. It is only the two of us. Yet, one nevers knows if their grown children may get laid off and need a place to stay during the pandemic. Our only concern was that we had initially ordered it on November 11, 2020; of which we were able to preselect a scheduled delivery on November 27, 2020. Unfortunately, they'd rescheduled it on December 30, 2020. This is after we received a call the afternoon prior to the 27th of November in which were provided an actual window of time that it should be delivered. When it did not arrive as anticipated, we followed up with the contracted delivery service, and discovered that they had no record of it. As a result it was rescheduled. We were frustrated that no one followed up with us. They just changed the status of the delivery date on Wayfair. We had purchased a smaller 10.1 cu refrigerator until this one arrived. It is now in our garage for extra storage. Wayfair did attempt to reach GE to get answers; yet, got transferred to the wrong department. We both gave up. I would've given a rating of 5 stars on the product. Yet, the initial customer service received in November failed us with their excuse and didn't offer any type of resolution, such as a coveted part (ice maker) ; nor discount for our inconveinence.. The unit fits nicely in the space provided. We have a small area to fit as the home is older and not setup for a larger 35" plus unit. The only thing it lacks is a bit more versatility for shelf and drawer placement. Height of bottles can be a problem storing. The refrigerator works well so far, although it is quite loud with the compressor/fan. I guess that’s why it’s called a garage fridge. Kinda bare bones, but we had a height limit and couldn’t find much else. Had to switch the doors to open from the right-instructions were clear and construction seemed good. No light in freezer. The refrigerator itself, so far, is good. It works well. The ice maker/crushed ice works and it looks good in our kitchen. However..... I gave it a 3 star because of some mishaps we have had since it was delivered. 1st - There was a 4 hour window when it was supposed to be delivered. I was told I would get a call when they were 30 min away. Never got a call they just showed up. Ok not a HUGE deal, but with 4 kids under 8yo it was annoying. 2nd- I was told it would be completely set up. The guys almost dropped it, hit my wall and left a dent in the wall, plugged it into the outlet and left. 3rd- there is a dent in the front door of the refrigerator, about dime sized. I paid for a NEW fridge. Not used.... So I called Wayfair, they called Samsung and connected me and they said they could give me $100 to compensate or I could call Wayfair and return/start the process all over. (This is 2Hours and 10min after being on hold!!) ‍♀️ Seriously?
