This little rack is a great idea that wasn’t implemented as well as it could have been. The biggest issue is that this will work really well for either a really deep sink or a very short handled brush. Most dish scrub brushes tend to have really long handles these days. Not sure why, but they do. I’ve been looking for brushes with shorter handles, but haven’t found anything except the soap filling kind that I don’t think work as well for scouring. So if you have a normal depth sink and typical handled brush the handle just slips through and lays in the sink at an angle making it harder to get out. And you then need to grab the scrubber part of the brush (which is often wet) to get the brushes out since they slip down. We end up laying the brushes along the length of the basket with the handles facing away from the faucet where they are easy to grab which means there isn’t enough space for the sponge. To improve the design the suction cups should be place a bit lower on the rack to raise it farther out of the sink, they should also be spaced a bit from the basket so the top of the basket can fit past the edge of an under mounted sink. We can’t place ours any higher in the sink as the top hits the edge of the counter. So this solution in it’s current configuration may not work as well as expected if you have long handled brushes, in a normal depth sink that is under mounted with a slight lip to the countertop..
