Overall we are happy with it. If you are going to do the natural gas conversion kit I would HIGHLY recommend having a licensed professional install it. We had one install ours and he discovered the igniter pin was turned the wrong way (this was pre-installed by the manufacturer). If it were not for him we would have had to send it back for being defective because we would never have thought to disassemble that unit to figure it out. The only major disappointment was the fact that the description says the exterior material is "Concrete" which it is NOT. It is a sculpted metal-like painted exterior to look like ledgestone. It looks close to the real thing from a distance...fortunately we don't have it next to our real ledgestone otherwise you would be able to tell. ALSO, take care when laying it on its side when hooking up the tank/gas line. The paint chips super easy (and it's noticeable when it does). The color is beautiful though...cool grays, not warm gray. The edge surrounding the glass/flames is wide enough to hold a beverage but nothing larger than that. You won't be able to put your feet on it while it's lit. The heat is pretty intense which will be nice on cool evenings. The flame reaches about 12"-14" high just as described. I would have given it 5 stars but I think it is really overpriced for being a pre-fab unit and not real ledgestone as described. . Kathy. Michigan. 2020-06-16 10:23:09
