We've had these carpet treads for about a week and I'm very pleased with them so far. Firstly, the design is unique(waffle look) and I like the pattern. Secondly, these stick to our wood stairs pretty well without any adhesive. (They put card in box and saying that they are ready to send double sided tape free of charge,lovely )We got these so our dog wouldn't slip on the stairs, but we didn't want to ruin the finish with adhesive. I just vacuumed the stairs really well before putting these down and there's only minimal shifting, even when the dog runs up at full speed. I also like the landing carpet; we use it at the very bottom of the stairs. The treads and landing rug are pretty thin, but that is what I was looking for. I just wanted something to keep the stairs from getting dirty and that would be easy to clean. Don't need a thick rug for that. Washing instructions say to spot clean with mild soap and vacuum or a washing machine. When the time comes, I will wash them on the delicate cycle in the washing machine and let them air dry. The step treads look a little smaller than the picture showed when purchasing but they are fine. They dont slip and slide and I think the steps are a bit safer. I like how they look. These are nice. The color is a medium gray that goes well with my decor. I also like the diamond pattern... gives it just enough visual interest to keep it a little more modern than others I've seen. They've made going up and down the stairs safer for my not-so-graceful pup. My only complaint is that I wish they e're a little heavier to stay in place better... They end up a bit cattywampus after walking on them. But, they're easy enough to straighten and I really hated the idea of anything sticky on my new floors so I'm very satisfied.. Amanda.
