The Napoleon Woodland Electric Fireplace Insert/Log Set is the perfect solution for older homes which often times have smaller fireplace openings. This stunning, realistic looking log set can be easily placed into your existing fireplace and simply plugged in to give you the look and feel of a real wood burning fire.
The detail within this log set is a true beauty. Each log is molded from real burnt pieces of wood and meticulously hand painted to create an ultra-realistic appearance whether the unit is on or off. Projected from behind the impressive log set are bright LED flames that appear to randomly reflect off the back surface of your fireplace for true realism.
The Woodland log set features a 6-setting, 5,000 BTU fan-forced heater that is rated to provide supplemental heat for rooms up to 400 Sq. Ft. in size. The system works well but the blower motor is loud. It's not a system malfunction but a design issue. Additionally, the system cycled repeatedly on and off in an increasing rate. The online manual did not address the cyclic issue and I eventually determined that the unmarked switch located to the extreme left of the on-off switch was key to resolve the uncontrolled cyclic issue. I eventually determined that the switch had to be depressed concomitant with the power switch repeatedly to stop the uncontrolled, runaway cyclic issue. This issue should be addressed in a revised manual.. Furtive1. Fernandina Beach, FL. 2023-03-05 23:52:37
