Thought I wanted stainless steel but was concerned about denting, scratching, and even comments I saw regarding some rust spots. I wanted a sink that wouldn't sound hollow when I put pots into it, I also wanted the ledge with a drying rack and cutting board. I plan to get a colander and since this is a standard 19" I'm not expecting a problem. The sink drains well and looks great!! The gray goes well with the stainless appliances that I have - very happy with the overall look. The rounded corners make it easy to clean and the cutting board and drying rack can be put on top of each other for convenience (in picture this way). I was able to get this on sale, so I got a great sink at a high end price. One thing to note: I thought I would get to pick which side the drain would go towards when installing - there's only one option - to the right, so if you have to have your sink drain to the left call Wayfair and have a rep help you find a comparable product. Each rep I've talked to has been very helpful and found products I didn't see (since they have so many!). Adding pics even though the cabinets haven't been painted....... Suzanne. This is a beautiful sink! I replaced a builder grade 2 tub stainless steel sink. This has basically the same footprint as the old one but it’s SO much bigger. Be aware that the black isn’t a true black. It’s more of a charcoal color. It has a light texture and sparkly flecks throughout. I really love the color. I paired it with the Bolden pull down single handle faucet by Kraus in black/stainless. I also upgraded our garbage disposal to the Badger 1/2HP (both purchased on this site). Forteza undermount sink was exactly what we hoped for. The depth of the sink was fantastic, color was true to the pics and extremely easy to install. Our contractor suggested this be installed at a super slight angle so that the water would drain easily to one side. If you have a disposable you will need to purchase a new drain cover as the one included is slotted. Overall satisfied with this sink, would recommend.. Cristina. Sink is large, weighty and easily drops in to the original hole. The time of installation was to convert a double bowl stainless steel sink into a single bowl. There was a lot of rerouting of piping that went on underneath. I was happy though bc the old plastic pipes stunk so bad I would have bought new ones anyway. The strainer is a perfect match. We used clear silicone where the sink came in contact with the cabinet. It comes with clips for underneath and the sink has partial holes (4) cutout under the back lip of the sink in case your sink is a 2 hole and you want to add a sprayer or soap dispenser.
