I was extremely satisfied until the electrical box catches on fire one day out of nowhere, totally frightening.I called and reported it to Wayfair customer service and they in turn contacted the company REDFLAME maker of the box....leaving a message since there was answered. I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding replacement of this item or if the problem was solved.The cord was plugged into the socket as it always had been from the first day I set the fireplace up. Always plugged into the wall as normal. I was shocked scared and afraid that the whole house would catch a blaze.Thank God I happened to be sitting in my office working at the time which is where the fireplace is.The sparks started to fly and an heavy electrical burn smell lasted for hours.I immediately moved the fireplace and used a wooden spatula to unplug the cord from the socket in the wall. So in love with our cozy new fireplace. It’s HUGE which was great because of our vaulted ceiling. I was afraid that it would look too tiny compared to the height of the walls but it is actually perfect. And, After removing the baseboards behind it And caulking the seams, It looks like a built-in fireplace. Also, it was very easy to put together. I was able to do it mostly by myself. The fireplace is heavy and comes in two boxes so be prepared to give it a push in the door. If you are placing it under a wall mounted TV, the max TV size is 65" and the TV will be the same size as the fireplace. What I personally was searching for in the reviews and did not find it was the storage measurements so I will share my experience. My full size DVR cable box (verizon) does not fit in the sliding top portion, it is popping out about an 1"-1.5", we will either cut a bigger hole in the back or switch it with the smaller cable boxes and move this big old one into a bedroom . Nintendo switch and our internet router fit in the slim side panels but there was no shot of fitting the other gaming consoles like Xbox, even sideways. You could always pop out the back so they can stick out in the back and the front doors will close. The fireplace looks nice and serves its purpose. The heat really comes out and has the ability to warm the room. We went for the bone color, it's not pure white, but not too much of a cream, it's nice and would match almost any decor. It shipped very quickly and arrived in NY in a couple of days, much sooner than the expected arrival date. Our box was missing a couple of bolts so we will have to contact the manufacturer ( we left two out of the top piece so its not fully locked in.. we wouldn't be able to lift it from there, not like anyone would lift the fireplace). This fireplace is exactly what we were looking for. The length works great to be able to put our new 65 TV above without it overlapping. The flames change colors and size so you can choose whichever combination you like best. Our living room is fairly large (18x13) and it doesnt really heat it up very much. My husband put it together pretty quickly and was happy with how each piece had directions and an arrow sticker on it (I added a picture of the back).
