This pen is a lifesaver. I moved from a farm into town with a dog that was used to roaming. My new home does not have a fenced-in yard yet. I put this up as a temporary fence. It was very easy to put up and my beagle has not gotten out. I got the 32" because she has not been a jumper. However, she could dig out under the fence so I don't leave her out while I am not home. The fence panels are sturdy enough but a heavier fence would be needed for a bigger dog. My beagle is 40 lbs and if she were to really challenge the fence when the ground is muddy, I think she might be able to dislodge the pegs and push the panels awry, but that's just speculation. I think that this playpen was an awesome investment! It's best used for animals who aren't over 2 feet tall. If they're taller than that, they'll be able to jump right out.
