Overall very satisfied with this purchase. Full over full provides plenty of room for my kids and the bed is very sturdy and was easy to put together. I chose the Naturepedic Verse mattress for my kids that is 9 inches and it fits perfectly. I am 5’10 and can’t sit straight up but I wouldn’t sit that way while reading with my kids anyways. I can sit on a slight angle comfortable without hitting my head. A couple of pieces came scratched and some joints became visible but overall very satisfied. Would buy again.. Dan. Before you buy this bed make sure you’re right with the Lord. If you are planning to build this as a couple get a marriage counselor. Be sure to have a case of wine and soothing music that can muffle your foul language. Lay every piece out and count all the screws and hardware. We were missing vital pieces and had to have them shipped. I put each screw, dowel, hardware in separate baggies and labeled them. Be prepared for areas to not be pre drilled especially the ladder. We had to build piece by piece in the garage and carry it to his room to assemble. This bed will have to burn down with the house before I attempt to take it apart and move it.
