Ordered these as a fun little set to use with special meals and love them. They came with a cute little caddy that adds to the “French Country” feel. Laguiole Flatware: I ordered 2 four-place settings of the Laguiole steak knives and steak forks. I had purchased a multi-colored handle set of Laguiole knives from a local store spring of last year and have just loved them! (See photo). When I saw this set I just knew I had to add these to my flatware collection. I ordered two sets so I can have a matching service for eight (See photos).The weight of the individual flatware utensils feels good in your hand as well as the shape and contours of the handles. I love the little “bee” on the edge of each utensil. I included photos of the bee on the original knife set I had beforehand and the bee on the set from this order. I am not sure why, but they are a little different in design. I read a reviewer’s comment that the “bee” fell off their flatware before choosing this set. I have had NO problems like that at all with this brand and style. These have been hand-washed as well as washed in the dishwasher. The knives have remained sharp. Both the knives and forks still look new after repeated use and washings and the bees are still attached. I included a photo that shows the flatware set with my Ruvo Emerald dinnerware that I purchased from Wayfair in 2018. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it together. My only disappointment and reason to rate the product a 4 instead of 5 is that spoons are not a part of the set.
