Just because it’s not crystal clear in the description: This table has a working mechanism that can drop it to chair height and raise it to high-top with locking hand-bolts. Also, someone commented that the table top is not “sturdy” - that is not true. You could perform an autopsy on a 300 .lb man on this table. Great quality table, wood looks amazing. Beware the table is extremely heavy. Needed help to get the package into my apartment, as well as after assembly to flip it over (~140 pounds). Also do not assemble over carpet, a bunch of black “soot” came out from the inside of the legs and was covered on the outside of them, needed to wipe them clean and wipe all the soot off the floor afterwards. Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. Once you pass that step, then it tells you to go back and screw them to 100%. That probably would’ve saved me about half an hour, but that’s user error, lol. I would 100% recommend.. Dina.
