Klaus Haapaniemi Klaus Haapaniemi’s new Taika collection for iittala merges folklore and architecture to create a modern world of ceramic dinnerware. Produced in two color schemes, Haapaniemi unveils a world of mythical creatures, animal hybrids with some human features, living within a floral and fauna based forest. This Taika plate was hand crafted by applying silk screen print design to basic white porcelain before being glazed and fired. Modern style comes to life in this dinnerware collection, maintaining iittala’s ability to mix and match pieces while adding a touch of magic to your home and everyday life.

Beautiful and functional The owls and peacock design is beautiful in any color, the shapes are pleasing to look at and the porcelain is functional. |

10 oz bowl is small but a great product I love these more every day I use them. They are sure to bring a smile to your face in the morning. They are very durable. My cat swiped a mug off the counter and it just bounced! The 10 oz bowls are pretty small for cereal but are nice dessert bowls. The 20 oz bowls are what I use regularly for soup and cereal. The peacock is sort of a cross between fox and bird and very imaginative, as is the owl. These are great everyday pieces or would be very fun for entertaining a creative crowd (if only I had more than four place settings) I do plan to buy more and I recommend them highly. |
