Alfredo Häberli Argentina (? - 1976)Alfredo Häberli was born in Buenos Aires in Argentina in 1964, but moved to Switzerland in 1977, where he trained as an industrial designer at the Höhere Schule für Gestaltung in Zürich, graduating in 1991. Since 1993 he has had his own design studio, with his most famous works being the stripy porcelain he designed for the Finnish company Iitalla, furniture for Mosors and furnishings for stores such as the Camper store in Paris and the Kvadrat showroom in Milan. Over the last 17 years Alfredo Häberli Design Development has become a prestigious international design studio. Mr Häberli has taught at design schools throughout Europe and the United States, and has participated at a host of exhibitions worldwide. He has also received a number of prestigious awards for his work. Alfredo Häberli finds inspiration for his elegant, minimalist designs in everyday life – gathering impressions into themes so he can always draw on them if he suddenly finds a use for them in a new context. His products are so ingeniously simple, they can all be described in just a few phrases. One method he uses is to keep observing his work again and again throughout the process: "Observing is the most beautiful way to think. I am constantly discovering new things in a single object," he says about his work.

Love the design. They are stunning in person but the are lighter than i expect. Would recommend if you want to add some color on your table. |

Excellent, fun dinnerware This is a great dinnerware set from iittala. The orange design is very fun. I have in a mostly white kitchen, so it adds a fun splash of color. The quality and weight (not too heavy and not too light) of the plates is very good. Overall, this is a great set for everyday use. |

Love the dishes My only complaint about this dish set is that there isn't a serving platter, only bowls, and no pasta bowl/plate. Would love to know if the colors in the teems design coordinate b/c I would be likely to mix and match. Didn't buy the mugs/ tumblers because we want handles. |

Very nice Very nice, quality dishes done by iittala! I was reluctant to get dinnerware that had a lot of white in it (seems so boring to me). But I find it to be ok. The dinnerware feels great in your hands and is aesthetically pleasing with the design and colors! |

Fun and functional I gave this as a gift and the person found it a fun design that could be used for many purposes in her house from a jewelry holder to a serving dish. She loved this item. |

One of my favorite purchases! Found these on a trip to Amsterdam and fell in love with the design. Wasn't sure at first how they'd hold up, but they are great for everyday use, do great in the dishwasher, and look awesome when you mix/match with other iittala dinnerware. Can be casual or dressed up. Love this stuff! |
