The glass designer and decorative artist Goran Hongell was one of the pioneers of the Finnish glass tradition. His blown glassware service Aarne set the trend for glass design during the 1950s, a trend which remains to this day.

Aarne glasses are a hit!

My husband and I now own the champagne, beer/water and coctail glasses of this design. We love them all. We use the beer glass as also a water glass so I'm hoping they stand up to the test of frequency.....and the constant run through the dishwasher. They are wonderfully weighty and yet elegant. Beautifully designed.Definitely recommended.
