I actually think this light fixture looks even better in person than it does in the photos. It worked perfectly at the entrance of my house, replacing an old silver fixture. I’m updating my decor to include more brown, wood, and gold tones, so this fit in beautifully. The finish is really nice and gives it a more elegant look. One thing to keep in mind is that the light bulbs are not included, so it’s a good idea to buy them before installation. I was lucky because my previous fixture used the same bulbs, so I was able to reuse them. Otherwise, you may not be able to test it right away unless you already have compatible bulbs at home. Installation was straightforward and pretty quick. It took about 20 minutes to install, although that’s assuming you have some basic knowledge of electrical work. I had a horrible experience ordering from Wayfair. They sent me defective lanterns that were completely different colors, and when I requested a refund, they refused to refund the shipping fee, even though the mistake was entirely on their end. On top of that, their customer service was unhelpful and made the process unnecessarily difficult. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere. I will never purchase from here again!
