I wanted a surround for my adjustable bed base and this fit the bill. I did not need the slats or slat supports. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to put it together myself at 72 years old. I wanted the shelf and USB charging ports and an ac outlet and lighting. I got everything I needed. The big box store wanted between $300 and $1200 for some frames with either power or charging but not both. Weight requirements did not matter since I used my own adjustable base. This monitor mount is so nice! Very heavy duty and the lights are very cool. I made the mistake of not paying attention to the new monitor we bought for my son it does not have the 4 holes needed on the back to mount it to. Got this bed for my son, the bed is a great fit for him and he likes the RGB lights and controls. I like that this bed has a plug in for the outlets that get mounted onto the bed so he can set up his devices and charge them going to bed. I built the bed myself and that is where I take a star away, the process is long and the bed comes in many parts. I made one small mistake and did not line up the holes correctly, luckily, I did not have to backtrack far, but it could pose a problem unless you are carefully following the directions (although it is mostly pictures).
