The Eclipse 2 is an indirect LED sconce made of extruded aluminum. We purchased the white version of this light, and it is solid. It is metal, not plastic and made very sturdy. The instructions are straight forward and the install was easy. It took us about 25 minutes including removing the previous light. The finish is smooth and sleek with the white one being soft and more of a flat to velvety finish.
