I received this as a birthday gift. We have wanted a nice firepit for a while and my wife suprised me with this gift. The assembly is easy and I only had a few issues. 2 of the legs had the threaded inserts installed upside down and I have requested an approved replacement at no charge. The instructions called for the installation of plastic inserts in the legs but they were not in the kit or listed in the parts list. Waiting on word back on that. 3 tile had minor imperfections and some chipping but have been authorized replacement at no cost. The instructions called for installing the ladder frames onto already installed studs however there were no studs and the frames were installed easily into the corner legs using the screw bolts provided into the mounting threaded inserts. That was a little confusing until I nuked it out. Also be sure to align the ladder framed with the 90 degree supports for the fire bowl facing inwards as there is no mention of that alignment in the directions. Of course I had one correct and one backwards but was a 3 minute fix. Overall this pit is easy to put together and looks really nice. I haven't made a fire in it yet as I want to receive and install the replacement parts first. Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out. The grill was not difficult to put together. It was packaged really well but did receive a dented tray. I'll email the customer service dept. noted on their instruction manual to replace it. After put together a few parts needed adjusting and unfortunately it teeter totters back and forth as something is off but I can't figure it out. I'll have to find something to balance the leg to keep it sturdy on my patio. The grill itself is nice, small in width but perfect for what we need. The 4th burner makes up for the smaller width.
