I was looking for a king sized headboard for the longest time. Hubby likes metal, and I like wood! This satisfies both our tasts! Easy to assemble, however the directions showed and mentioned 'wooden pegs' as part of the hardware. There were no wooden pegs included. There were 2 pieces of wood that were rounded on all 4 corners (the pieces were about 1" x 1.5" in size)and acted as "biscuits' to join the headboard to the legs. We were in need of an extra headboard and it had to match existing cherry furniture. I have NEVER ordered online and decided to gave Wayfair a try. I am really impressed by the speed at which we received the product and was even more surprised by how well the assembly instructions were presented.The headboard looks great and again, we were surprised at the quality for the money... I searched for weeks for a nice headboard for a guest bedroom. I wanted wood but didn't want to spends much money. This one fit the bill perfectly. It's nice and solid and only took me 5 minutes to put together and another 5 minutes to attach to the frame. I'm glad I took the free frame. The one on the bed already had flat metal brackets where the headboard attached that didn't work with the round wood bedposts.
