Area Rugs

This rug is beautiful on my Asian Tigerwood wood floor. I have placed it under my dining room table. The dining room style is Country French (more French than country). The description says Oriental design, but I don't think it looks Oriental at all. It is well made and with a pad underneath, it is just the right thickness on my wood floor. I didn't want an ultra plush rug because if the rug is too thick, the chairs are hard to move in and out when seated. There is a border running around the outside and another about 11 inches in that looks like dots on a brownish background. The background is actually a beautiful burgundy. There is a little burgundy outlining in the center medallion but none in the ornate filigree on the navy background. There is just a little burgundy in the ivory border and some subtle green. I thought the whole ivory border had a greenish cast to it, looking at the picture, but it doesn't. The rug has so much more detail than the online picture depicts. The navy is a very nice blue, not a dark blue/black, although at night, the blue does darken somewhat. I had no problems with curled edges. What I really like is that it is not wool. I thought I wanted all wool rugs in my new house. I have a wool area rug in my living room, that rug has NOT quit shedding! I find clumps of fibers all over! I have repeatedly vacuumed it like suggested, but it still sheds. This Radici Noble rug is not wool so it doesn't shed but still has vibrant colors and looks very elegant. I ordered the Navy 7'9"x9'6" size and it is exactly the stated measurements. I was hesitant about ordering because return shipping would be quite high on a rug of this size, but I loved the design on this one and took a chance. This is a beautiful rug in an amazing color. I needed a rug and didn't want to spend a ton of money but also didn't want a poor quality rug. The color is a dark, deep purple, eggplant/plum color. I was a little skeptical about purchasing this rug as the photo doesn't do the rug justice. I was afraid of getting a bright purple/royal purple rug. I wanted a more mature looking rug and this was perfect for my budget. There are two types of thread on this rug, one silky and the other a more matte and thick thread. The "ultra shag" shaw rug has a close up picture of what the rug really looks like, minus the coloring, which isn't true to the color of the rug. Feel nice with a rug pag underneath. Beautiful rug. I found this rug at [...] and then searched everyone online to find it at a better price. Wayfair was almost $800 cheapier for the 13 x 10. I was nervous about ordering from Wayfair since I had never heard of them or known anyone who ordered from them. Products arrived (3 rugs and 3 rug pads) within 7-10 days. Very fast. Very pleased with the quality of the rug we purchased from Wayfair. Wanting a Southwestern theme rug this one was perfect. The designs and colors were exactly as pictured. Nice denseness to the carpet making it comfortable to walk on. Ive looked everywhere for a small Southwestern rug and am so pleased I ordered one from Wayfair.
