Area Rugs

This rug is the first purchase Ive made through Wayfair and Im thrilled with the whole experience. I originally saw the rug at a local big box store. I decided to compare prices online and was able to buy it at Wayfair on sale for over 100 less with free shipping. Even if it hadnt been on sale, Wayfairs price was still lower. I was worried about buying a rug online though, because its so hard to tell what it would look like once its in your home. The photo is an accurate depiction. The rugs color name is BeigeGray but in my home the gray looks like it has some subtle slate blue in it. That is probably because of my lighting but it is exactly what I wanted. Again, the photo represents this color very well. I called Wayfair to discuss this rug and the customer service rep was incredibly sweet and helpful. She put the rug on hold for me for a week to lock in the sale price while I decided if I wanted to order it. Once I decided yes, I received the rug in the promised number of delivery days (cant remember now how many days it was, but the website states that info - it wasnt long). I love the rug! It was obviously delivered all rolled up, and so took a few days to lay completely flat. We also had to turn it 180 degrees from the way we originally set it up because, as with all carpet fibers, depending on the cut of the fiber, one direction might reflect more light than the other. We wanted a more flat color look which we achieved by simple turning the carpet around. All of my guests over the holidays, commented on the subtle colors and beauty of this rug. I ordered the sample of this rug. I loved how it felt & looked so I ordered the almost 8 x 10 size. It came fast. When I rolled it out, I was surprised to see the leaves in the design on this larger rug were MUCH larger than on the sample rug. The leaves went from 6 1/2 inches long each on the sample rug to 18 inches long each on the large rug. I wanted & expected the smaller sized leaf design on the larger rug as well. I decided I could live with the difference and keep the rug anyway. This lack of warning of different pattern size is why I gave only 4 stars."..."  Read more

I purchased two of these rugs (family room/living room). My house is a neutral color scheme, contemporary decor with tile floors. These rugs add flair but yet classic with the brown and black border frames around the leopard print and really warmed up the rooms nicely. The rugs are the exact colors/look of the Internet photo (no surprises when they arrived). If you are looking for a tall/plush pile, these are not the rugs for you. The pile is low/smooth and is very easy to vacuum. I did not have any problems with rug moving; however, if you have active pets or kids and you are using on tile or wood floors, you may want to use some carpet tape on the corners to ensure rugs stay in place to prevent any slippage/accidents. Tip: to get rid of carpet roll marks when you first roll out rug, apply some heat from a blow dryer/press down with hands and roll marks will disappear."..."  Read more
