dCOR design Zurich 37" - 52" TV Stand in Black Lacquer - AY-9791

I bought this for a t.v in a guest bedroom. Most stands I looked at were too short to allow viewing from the bed but this is the perfect height. It fits my contemporary decor and does not take up alot of space. It is heavy and well made and it takes 2 people to carry the box but I was able to assemble by myself.

Slightly lower mount of the TV than expected. Had to redo some assembly as details of top and bottom were not easily discerned from instructions and diagrams, otherwise assembly was easy.

I'm not crazy about the glass shelves with their sharp corners. They could be very dangerous with children and animals in the house. I didn't realize how far they stuck out from the stand. If I knew I wouldn't have bought it. I also didn't realize that the TV is mounted in the front portion of the stand so when postiioned against the wall with baseboard heating vents it sticks way out, further then I imagined. For some reason I thought the TV was mounted on the back of the stand. I guess that is my fault, I should have known this stand is designed to be for the corner of the room where it sits today. I also have have a complaint about accessing the plug ins on the back of the TV when it's mounted on the stand. It could be a real headache. Thank God I only had to plug in the power cord and HDMI cable. Anything else, forget about it. You have to plug everything in before you mount the TV. What pain that is. Other then the problems I mentioned the stand looks good, better then the stand it replaced. Would I buy it again? No, I don't think so.

It was a little confusing to assemble, but once put together, it looks just great. It is very functional and the glass shelves are sturdy. The stand takes up little room and is ideal if you have only a 30" space. It also swivels which makes viewing easy from different angles within your room. I would recommend this to those young and old.

Now our HD big screen TV and components look like a home theater with this TV stand! The TV is at a good height for viewing! Got it at a good price, before increase, and I used a discount code (google for one) to get a tad better deal. Appreciate the free shipping! Would not have bought it from here, otherwise. Hubby put together pretty much by himself (I had to help a little). It took him about 3 hours to assemble; and then a few more hours to tweak the fit of the TV securely. It is perfect and secure and looks much better than our shorter tv stand. The stand had a few nicks of paint missing, but it's in the back and cannot be seen. Could touch up. I just don't understand why the issue is not corrected when customers say the same thing over a period of time? If you can get this it at a good price, go for it!

before i ever purchased this i thought it looked a little pricey for the amount of material required for its construction. i still think that, which is the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars. since i have one of those super thin lcd tvs, i was actually able to mount a 55" tv on this stand (the tv only weighs like 50 pounds though so it was well within the advertised weight limit even though it slightly exceeds the advertised surface area limit). it look's awesome & i like that it's designed to easily rotate viewing angles. i'm happy with this purchase!

Arrived on time. Easy to assemble. Definately need two people to life it. Fits perfect in my space.

Very handy. Cords hide nicely. Easy to set up. Materials could be better for the price.
