It is not difficult if you take a little time to sort the parts and carefully follow the pictures. The unit arrived without any damage because it was so well packaged. Robin from Perry Hall, Md	3.0 3/21/2012 Decent TV stand for 60" plasma tv The item was not too complicated to assemble. Could have been easier if directions included words instead of just pictures. Item did have 3 large dents on the top portion, however, they were in the back section that the TV hide. Just used black magic marker to disquise the damage. I would think that a item that is $300 should be better inspected before leaving the factory. The shipping box had no damage to it at all so I assume the damage was done in the factory.
