This credenza is absolutely beautiful. I was just looking for something decent enough for my office to hold binders and office storage.What I got was a chic piece of statement furniture that is also functional and gives me tons of storage to boot. The color is a deep gray just shy of black. The doors are “fluted” and the handles are a nice soft gold. I kept polishing the front because it looked dusty and then I realized it was a reflection from the handles. The interior shelving is adjustable so there is room for large binders. One long drawer and two short make for adequate space for smaller supplies. I did expect the drawers to be deeper but they are fairly shallow compared to the base. This came in two exceptionally heavy boxes and literally several hundred pieces. I did use the assembly service and it was worth every penny! This thing was a bear but he was a champion! This is an absolutely gorgeous piece—truly more like a piece of artwork than just a cabinet. The detail on the doors is even more beautiful in person photos really don’t do it justice. It feels very sturdy and well made, and there is a surprising amount of storage inside. Ours came preassembled, which was a huge plus. That said, it is quite large and heavy, so I’m very glad I selected in-room delivery. For scale, I’m using this in a 14x14 dining room, and the 72” length fits perfectly centered along one wall without overwhelming the space. Gorgeous sideboard with large cabinets. Looks beautiful under our 65” TV. Looks like natural wood. The back piece is a thin particle board backing which was useful because we needed to insert some wires for the TV box and it was easy to make a hole and add the Samsung box for the frame TV. Gorgeous. Perfect size. Holds a lot. The shelves inside are adjustable in height. The cabinet doors are the soft closing mechanism. It was simple to put together. I did it myself in about an hour. It doesn’t take up too much space to make the room feel cluttered but it’s big enough to be an eye catching piece of furniture. This is a very nice sideboard and the quality is very good. I gave a 3 star because of the delivery issue. The initial delivery date was May 13 but this item was not delivered until the 17th of May. The driver claim he/she cannot call my Telephone number and tried twice. Come to find out he/she have wrong number which starts 572. I checked my account online and my phone number is not change, still 571. The delivery person should have the initiative to call their office and check my phone number. I ask Wayfair customer Service the delivery driver's phone number so I can call the driver and help.
