Right out of the box ! we bought 2; kind of a Graphite Black color - they were packed/shipped very well & delivered quickly (Summer 2025)- they went together easily, the swivel recliners met & enhanced the aesthetic theme expectations of the space they are in beautifully! After a month of moderate usage in a sun-light/UV protected space, by 2 people w/no animals i will unfortunately have to change the initial 4.5 star rating to a 2.5 star rating for the following reasons: 1) the chair back & w/recliner extended is designed to comfortably accommodate a person under 5'9" - works for me at 5' but not my husband @ 6'. 2) the recliners foot-leg rest only extends to full-out - there is no partial or 1/2 way for the leg extension. 3) on both chairs, the leather on the head-rest & seat-back & the seat cushions very quickly/prematurely began drooping/sagging, wrinkled & starting to show a crack/split appearance (that is not due to years of age as would be expected) and is only getting worse over time. The price-point for these at the time was reasonable & on paper the 'look' & description of them seemed to be the perfect fit to enhance our Great Rooms furniture suite; unfortunately the quality of these recliners materials & the size/mechanical limitations are disappointing and will not meet the hoped for expectations for comfortability w/a quality handsome appearance or the quality of durability & long wear. - sv. This review is for the Oatmeal. So many reviewers don't note their color. PROs: Much prettier fabric than website photos where it appears like a beige/tan and kind of cheap looking. It's actually closer to creamy white or ivory "oatmeal." Polyester fabric has a linen look but should be more durable than linens. It looks like it could be microfiber on the website but in real life appears higher quality than that. Excellent hard-to-find storage! Can hold about 4 throw pillows. Top is hinged and stands up on its own. Again, this is rare. Very sturdy! Easy assembly. Arrived with feet inside the storage area and they screw on by hand, no tools necessary. Nice transitional style that would blend with any decor. Arrived fast (and early)! Excellent value! CONS: It is closer to 16.5 inches high than 18, which does make a difference when sitting to put on your shoes. It just feels low. Feet are very dark finish which feels more like a living room than bedroom. Just personal taste. I sanded them, but will replace with taller feet at some point because the bench sits too low for my bed. If you have a low profile bed, this may be fine with you. Wish it came in more color ways or prints but I will likely add nail heads or reupholster in the future for more personality. The neutrality should fit any decor though. Still giving 5 stars because the price can't be beat, I'm willing to work with it. I have been searching for years and this bench finally ticks all the boxes for me. Thank you Wayfair!!. Kat. SE.
