For the price, it is perfect for my needs. The assembly was challenging due to the number of pieces that hold it together. The directions had pictures, but some narrative would be helpful. I am no youngster and not the strongest, but I put it together by myself and with rest stops subtracted from the equation, I was able to get it together in about 5 hours. Again, for the price, it was fine. I had ordered Wayfair assembly but due to some hiccups in shipping I could not get that part coordinated. This cabinet took a long time to receive. It arrived without any type of assembly instructions. The quality seems very good, and it will be a great addition to my audio rack system. It consists of a stackable top pier and a bottom base, both crafted from solid and engineered wood with an antiqued white finish to give this piece a distressed look and French country appeal. This audio rack also has removable, magnetic side moldings to help it sit flush next to an entertainment center hutch (sold separately).
