Business Intelligence

The Business Intelligence team collects, analyzes and reports data to give the whole company insight into the big picture. Our goal is to empower everyone at Wayfair with timely, accurate, and actionable information. We love SQL, work with the best massively-parallel-processing databases to speed analyses, and think critically to tackle complex challenges. We have broad exposure to the workings of Wayfair and use our expertise in big data to facilitate business decisions. When other Wayfair teams need to know about customer, clickstream, product, financial, or other data, they count on Business Intelligence.

Our teams handle a wide variety of tasks to help grow their individual categories, from developing merchandising strategy to conducting in-depth operational analyses to building strong relationships with suppliers. Category managers and associates are results-driven, quick thinking, and enthusiastic leaders in spearheading the growth of Wayfair’s core business.

Creative & User Experience

DwellStudio

DwellStudio was born as Dwell Home Furnishings, in 1999. Founder and Creative Director Christiane Lemieux, a veteran of the worlds of fashion and home retail, wanted to offer the discerning customer a range of vibrant and modern textile designs. In November 2007, the company was reborn as DwellStudio, an overarching brand to unite the various lines focused on bedding, baby, children and tabletop. Now a decade on, the company continues to evolve, pushing the boundaries aesthetically and tackling new design challenges each and every season, though it remains one of the most trusted names in the home market. As of 2013, DwellStudio became a division of Wayfair LLC.
