I Highly recommend this desk. This is exactly what I expected. It was easy to put together. Total build time was about 20 - 30 minutes for 1 person. High quality materials. all hardware was provided. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the edge of the desk is a hard 90 degrees rather than a beveled edge. The electric standing desk is sturdy and nice. It is traditional with a sleek design look. The electric height adjustment works smoothly and quietly, making it super easy to switch between sitting and standing modes throughout the day. The built-in power outlets are nice, no more crawling under the desk. It is, however, not easy to put together. It has a lot of parts, so be prepared to dedicate time to that and it takes a couple of hours for the assembly when doing it all alone. The fact that there were no gliders for the drawers is a bit disappointing, because they just hang when pulled out. The original desk I received had some scratches on a couple of parts and the wooden dovels provided to connect the desk top were fragile and broke during the assembly. Reached out to Wayfair support with the part number needed to replace the damage and they were so understanding and supportive enough to provide a new free replacement and told me to dispose off the original desk that was no longer functional. Few things to note 1. Don’t try to swap the drawer sides or you have a massive gap on the side from the desktop 2. The instructions show you the sides swapped with the flat side of the shelf unit facing out - this is a dirty trick. Don’t try it or you off center desk. 3. Swap step 8 and 7. You’ll thank me later. 4. 2-4 hours is a lie IF you follow the directions. I had to rework 3 times which put me at 5-6 hours of putting together. 5. I waited 5 months for this desk to come back into stock. Although it’s the look I wanted, the rework and cussing was not to my satisfaction. Great for the price. Assembly instructions not totally clear, but we figured it out through trial and error. Lots of screws on this one! Drawers are cloth, like those cubes you buy, with a stiff bottom to add to make them sturdier. Will be interesting to see how much we can put in them before they start bucklinggetting out of shape. However, it sure made drawers and drawer tracks way easier than assembling wood drawers and making sure tracks align correctly! The standing desk came quick and was well packed. It was easy to put together following the directions. It did take a few hours(one person). I was surprised at the amount of parts and screws. It was a lot (50 steps on the instructions). But if you follow the steps you should be fine. I was sent the wrong color. I ordered the rustic brown, was sent the white instead. That is the reason for the four stars. It is well made and seems heavy duty. I like the two drawers(they are fabric). I really like the slide out key board. I think it will last a long while..
