Ok let's talk chairs! When using in a rental upholstery is a nightmare and solid would is so heavy. The assembly instructions don’t tell you how to insert the gold pieces, so I’m sharing the trick here. You won’t be able to push in the gold pieces with your fingers and the holes will seem too small, but the pieces will fit - you have to use a mallet. Tilt the piece and use your mallet to gently tap in one edge of the piece so that it lodges crookedly in the hole. The table itself is thick and solid, and the chairs are just as strong—definitely a high-quality set that feels like it will last for years. Instead of leaving it for me to deal with, they took care of the replacement process on the spot.
